The Cat purrs in approval as he realizes Sebastian is putting thought into this. "You would understand them the way you can understand everyone else in the Library. The words are translated as needed unless there is no equivalent in your language."

The purr becomes louder as he watches how careful Sebastian is when he picks up the smaller cat. The Head Librarian was right when he said that the Cat should be more open minded about humans. Some of them treated felines with respect and kindness.

The Chairman makes a sound that was more for the Cat than Sebastian. "He would like to visit. He says you smell like home." He is not going to say that the Chairman thinks that Sebastian smells like Alec's sweaters. The one the Chairman likes to sleep on the most.

"I hope that they missed him. He was very adamant about coming here when he found out Church was going to stay with the other Lightwoods."
