The Chairman was familiar enough with Alec to know that if he was kissing someone, it was time for the cat to go find somewhere else to play. He would have laughed at the Chairman's reaction but he was too focused on Sebastian to really think what happened.

Making a surprised sound, he was grateful that the Chairman was out of the way when Sebastian grabbed him. "'m here," he whispered before returning the kiss. Holding Sebastian close, he tried to reassure him as much as he could, deepening the kiss, trying to get as much contact as possible so his boyfriend knew that he was real and they were both safe. When he finally had to pull away to catch his breath, he buried his face against Sebastian's neck. "Don't apologize when I was the one who was stupid."
