[Hermione wakes up holding something resembling a bookmark in her hand. Her senses are immediately on alert however, and she sits up suddenly clutching the bookmark in her hand. The only thing she saw when she woke up was books so many Books. Hermione was in love. She flipped the bookmark over and it flickered to life. A rumpled, but smartly dressed young woman with long brown hair. She is wearing a touch of make-up but it looks very natural. ]

Well. This is most certainly not what I was expecting to do today. In fact, I was expected to be in the Americas today meeting with the Minster of Magic. [She looks slightly perturbed at the sudden change in plan. She was one that was all about plans, and schedules. ]

I suppose though, there are worse places to be. In fact this is exactly the place I would have chosen. [She looks absolutely delighted at this. ]

My name is Hermione Granger, and can someone please tell me why I am surrounded by books? Better yet, why do I feel like giving everyone my opinion?

[Magnus had perked up at the mention of a 'minister of magic'. He read that book. He read it and heard some of the silly arguments at the cafe about himself versus the wizard Dumbledore. So naturally, he answered.]

This is not exactly America, is it?

[His feline eyes are down right curious at the sight of her. And they only light up when she says her name.]

Hermoine Granger? [Well, isn't this just fun? Meeting a character from something he always thought was simply a book.] You are in the Central Library. But I think, from what the old man was telling me, it is more than just books lying around here.

[He considers that a moment. The idea of someone from a book just being there like they simply took a plane into his reality. But then, Magnus has seen stranger in his life... and she need not deal with that book nonsense. So, he simply smiled and moved on with the conversation.]

I am Magnus Bane. [He had to cut off the high warlock part, certainly the term warlock wouldn't be seen in the same light from her world.]

It seems that quite a wide selection of people have ended up here. Like a mass job interview to save the multi-verse if I understand it correctly.
