Greetings, My name, is Hermione Granger, and as you can see I am not a clock. That was very interesting, and I learned something I didn't know, so thank you Library.

Well, this might come across as strange, but do people have jobs here. I am used to being busy, so I was just curious.

[Peering into the bookmark, as he sits on a window seat, reading.] Yes, it would seem that many of us have been quite literally 'not ourselves', as the saying would go.

Welcome back... I feel a little sad myself to say good bye to the most normal prince figure I ever encountered. But then, if I were a clock, I'd be happy to be back to normal as well.

[Magnus does look amused. He looks that way a lot, like a satisfied cat waiting for something else to entertain him.]

So far we have been cleaning up and hunting monsters depending on who is able. And I have a feeling, things will get more interesting as time goes by. Though, establishing jobs may help... I say we ask for cooks first.

[Hermione's brow furrowed a little bit. There was rarely something that she wasn't good at, but she hadn't cooked in years, not wanting to for just herself. ]

I don't cook that often, is that going to be a problem?

[A pair of bright, green eyes fill the screen before the Cat backs up enough so that it's obvious that he is a normal sized feline. Really, these devices would be easier if they were made for those with paws.]

The patrons' main task is the care and upkeep of the Library but beyond that, they may have jobs. It is not required so it is the patrons' decision if they wish to take up some sort of work while they're here.

Is there work available in the Library?

Your job is to bring order to the Library. [Why didn't the patrons understand the importance of that cause?] I have a list of tasks that patrons can assist with.

You are free to do as you wish in your spare time as long as it does not involve breaking our rules. If there is work that you would like to accomplish here, that is your choice. Just make sure that you do not dabble with things that are beyond the knowledge of your reality.

So what you are telling me is that it is highly encouraged to spend time in the library?

I'm not certain what you mean by outside the Library unless you mean the Market. That portal is open to make our patrons' lives comfortable not as a place where they spend the majority of their time.

I just assumed that we would have to earn our keep so to speak. In addition to the work that we do for the library. was I wrong?

Why wouldn't helping us in our duties be 'earning your keep'? [The concept is strange to the Cat. The patrons were asked to stay. Why would they demand more from them than what the Head Librarian had asked?]

Your assistance is all that we ask of our patrons. We will try to assist those who would like other pursuits to make this place more homelike but you are not required to have jobs here. Is there some specific work that you would like to take up in your spare time?
