☽ Video 001 ☾
How curious! [The video camera turns on its side, flips over and then returns to viewing the young man’s face. His brilliant deep blue eyes turned brighter, causing the gold around the pupil to light up in pure amusement.] Ha ha! I have never seen such… Aruji-dono does have something similar…
[He smiles all the more in a serene manner, as he tilts his head to the side.] Perhaps someone can tell me where I am? I really shouldn’t be away too long from Aruji-dono, she might need as all of the Toushirous are truly a handful on her own. [A finger presses to his chin thoughtfully.] Though, Ichigo-kun should have his brothers in hand... perhaps I am here for a reason greater than preventing the altering of history?

The names though, and the manner the other spoke...familiar, though the eyes were not. Hmmm. Regardless, it was a new arrival and the Goddess Wolf would go to greet them. It would allow her nose to sniff out further information.
The scroll-furled up once more and somehow tucking itself against her Solar Flare--there, but not, along with her other few items. Easy paces down the hallways, flowers springing to life in her wake before vanishing to energy once more. It would not take her long to come to where the new patron is.

The marks were familiar, typically scrawled on masks and drawings from various places he'd been stored over time. The feeling of the Shinto religion struck him profoundly and felt oddly like coming home in certain ways. Kneeling down to one knee, he fixed his eyes on the wolf's and waved. If he'd been Ishikirimaru or even Taurotachi, he might have been able to put his finger on a name... but sadly, he was neither. "Hello there... I am Mikazuki Munechika... ha ha ha! You can talk, yes? Otherwise I would look quite silly. Though, Konnosuke-san can talk to us, so maybe I shouldn't feel so strange?"

I speak, though this form is unsuited for human words. The tip of her tail, black as a brush, had waved and characters appeared in the air. Legible for the moment, then fading from sight, as if painted in ink that had vanished.
Welcome Munechika-san to the Library. I am Amaterasu.

"Amaterasu-sama... please call me Mikazuki." His creator's name was not something he tended to use as names of swords seemed different in comparison of typical Japanese names. "Munechika Sanjo was my creator and my name was bestowed on me for... Ah.. yes, you may not know?" He smiled brilliantly and shifted to pull his true form from the elaborate sheathe at his side. He held it out for her to see, the blade resting on gloved fingers so she could see the patterns in the metal. "The patterns resemble the crescent moon."
Pausing, he touched a long sleeve covered hand to his lips in thought. "Ah, yes.. you may not know what I am either. Hm..." He indicated the blade again. "This is my true form. Ha ha... a bit strange, ne?"

Moving closer to examine the blade, it was easy to see the care its maker had put into it from the detail and the craftsmanship. Truly then, less an object-youkai and more a true spirit-embodying-the sword. More akin to a kami. It made sense to her.
There are many things that are strange in this place Mikazuki-san. Though you are unique, you are not special in your strangeness here. Another smile though, and she got to her feet. Please also call me Ammy. I am brought to this place to help it, just as you have been requested to be.

Perhaps she did not mean it so much a kindness as a truth... but to be treated as something of an equal and not simply a sword was refreshing. To be able to experience more beyond the past and all he knew was a gift. "Ah, right... do you know the reason for which we are here? I had been called to save history so it would not be altered... but this place... it has another purpose, yes?"
Slowly sliding the sword back into the sheathe, the musical sound was something he could feel reverberating down his spine. He and the sword were one. He was the soul... the sword was the body so to speak. "Mm, I forget myself... I am pleased to meet you, Ammy." With that he bowed politely with all the elegance of the Heian era.

We have been asked here to help save this place, and it is indeed more than you might suspect. It takes the form of the Library, and is threatened by Darkness, threatening existence and all whom depend upon this place.
It was as succinct and clear as she could easily explain. Nor was the Goddess Wolf entirely sure she understood it all herself...she somewhat wished Issun was around. Not least because he was used to asking the questions while Ammy would nap.
The Librarians have requested we, as patrons, aid them in protecting and defending this place.

Did he simply... learn to survive and operate on his own? Or were these librarians his new masters?
Returning his gaze to the wolf, he smiled at her gently. "If you say this place is important, I cannot disagree with you and therefore my mission has been altered for the time being." With a little pang of sadness, he realized that possibly... his saniwa would simply forge a new copy of him... and he would not be missed. Perhaps, he would console himself solely with knowing this was very important as well.
"Ha ha.. I do hope someone here knows how to care for swords." Grinning a little, he tipped his head to the side. "I do not believe I had time to remember to grab a cleaning kit before I left."

If your true form is that sword, then I can take care of you. An affirmative woof, and her head tilted. Little Crescent Moon, you are from my home, even if it is not my home. You are far from alone.
