Trouble in the Mythology Section
[This would be transmitted to all Bookmarks. Coming up first on the screen is an image of large white wolf, with red-facial markings around her eyes and her forehead and shoulders. She paws at the screen briefly, gives a small woof, and then moves to bow her head in greeting. Shortly after, the following text would be transmitted.]
[Shortly after, for those who do not understand Japanese, the translation would appear below.]
Everyone, I would like to request your aid. Some of the beings from various mythologies have escaped, and are playing a game of Hide-and-Seek. Finding them will be faster if I do not have to hunt them alone. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you for your time.
[Once again, Ammy appears on the screen after the text. Another 'woof' and a nod.]
私は図書館の神話と伝説のセクションに会うしてください。
[Again, the translation would follow a moment later.]
Please meet me in the Mythology and Legends section of the Library.
[A map to the designated section appears, and then the feed is cut.]
[OOC: Hi guys, I'm willing to NPC any of these characters in response to the threads below as needed.]
Japanese Mythology
If you help in the Japanese legends area, Oni and Namahage are playing Onigokko with you. This is the Japanese version of tag, where the person who does the chasing is 'It'. Ammy will give provide instructions on how to deal with these demons once they find you.
After entering the Japanese section of the stacks, you'll hear a deep and scary voice count to 10 in English, before calling out Ooi! mou ii kai? mou ii kaai!
The responses to this are "No not yet!", in which case the voice will count to 10 again in English, then call out the question once more. Once you're 'ready', either in a hiding place or lying in wait, answer the call with "Yes I'm ready!". The Oni can also be drawn to you by clapping your hand and calling out "Oni-san kochira!" (Mr. Oni, over here!)
Once you've been found, you must tag the Oni or Namahage first before they can tag you, and then the 'game' is over as they'll return to their books.
Greek Mythology
In the Greek section, Atalanta the Huntress is running free. If you can find her, she won't go back without being beaten in a foot-race. Good luck, as she's fast as the wind.
The demigod Heracles is also stalking through the halls. If you find him, he'll challenge you to a Classical wrestling match. The rules are as simple, as a point is awarded when one challenger successfully throws the other to the ground. 5 points will win; this is a grappling based challenge. Be careful, as Heracles is considered the strongest man alive.
Norse Mythology
If you find yourself heading towards the Norse mythologies section, you'll hear harp music, along with grumbling and pounding of a hammer against an anvil. The two are coming from different directions among the stacks.
Heading towards the Harp music, eventually brings you to a handsome man playing a hand-harp. If approached he'll greet you; this Bragi, the norse god of poetry. He is unwilling to go back to the books without a new epic saga to share.
Heading towards the sound of hammer striking Anvil leads to an older part of the section, and finally a short and dark figure working at a small make-shift forge, grumbling to himself. Andvare, forger of the cursed ring, Andvarenaut, is annoyed. Some dark elves escaped and stole some of his metals--and while he found and chased the dopkalfar back to the books, he refuses to go without his stolen silver bars.

[Video, Proceeding to Action?] Not sure which section to go with. Which would you prefer?
[Nita's not going to waste time if there's something that needs to be dealt with.]
:D It's entirely up to you, but perhaps Norse-and Bragi?
Thank you for your aid. I shall be trying to wrangle other lost residents.
That would be fine! ^^ [Action]
Alright, mythology. What do I know about mythologies..?
[As she's pondering the various cultural myths she's familiar with, she finds her way to the Norse section.]
(Text) -> (Action: Heracles and/or Ammy)
I am seeking a lady wolf. Have you seen her?
Re: (Text) -> (Action: Heracles and/or Ammy)
Ho there stranger! Nay, I have not seen a lady wolf since visiting with Psophis, daughter of Lycaon. Last I saw, she was in the care of Lycortas of Phegeia.
[He doesn't seem to realize Maedhros means a literal lady-wolf. He's jovial enough, in good humor, and not intimidated by the taller man.]
Now, if you mean sport, I doubt we'll find it among this maze of paper and wood.
