Seems like this is the trend today, so I wanted to make a post.

For those who haven't met me yet, I'm Sunset Shimmer and my thing is sort of a mix of Music, Friendship-themed stories, Magic stories and Unicorns.

I know, pretty girlish, but there's reasons behind everything. And yes, just to answer, people in my world are very colorful, so if you run into people with literal colors of the rainbow as their skin and hair, then you've probably run into one of my friends from home.

I can't thank Trunks more than what I've said to him, but thanks again for helping me out in the previous World we were in. That was not my cup of tea let me tell you.

[Sunset pauses to think of something and then adds,] If we ever get to my World or a place called Equestria, or if a book is located with those names regarding ponies with cutie marks on their flanks, please let me know immediately. I've yet to find anything, but I figure its buried in the Children's section somewhere.

She likes to keep herself in mystery sometimes. My old teacher was a big believer in do, not say.

And yeah, the last 'world' was nothing like the ones I knew of. It's more reminiscent of a horror game than anything else.

[That whole paper thing is cool though.]

Here in the Library, my own experience with another world was similar. Although I do not believe it was a 'game'. I had two warriors with me, and we had to prevent two different monsters from clashing, and also from escaping back to the Library.

We had to stop a ritual on our game. But there were health pick ups and healing potions and other things.

There was a lot of mechanics to deal with.

[Okay, Ammy's head is tilting as there's a lot there she does not understand. She gets there is some kind of 'ritual', and they were able to find healing potions. Why would those have been necessary though? What was a mechanic?

I would like more detail, as this does not sound like any game I am familiar with. What are 'mechanics'? Why would you need healing potions--were you injured? What is a 'health-pick up'?

Ah well, okay how to explain this. Mechanics are a term for defeating a challenge. It can range from something simple as "dodge this three times" or "jump on the head of a turtle three times: and you win, to "close a terrible abyss of souls."

Healing potions, well, it kept Trunks healthy, and health pick-ups are basically healing items like medical kits, herbs and bandages.

[Okay, that...sort of makes sense. It's still unlike any game Ammy's ever heard of, but she is following along better now.

I am glad that you and your companion are alright. It does not sound as if it was an enjoyable event.

It was a little rough, to be all honest. There's a few times I worried for both of us.

All the more reason that I am glad you are safe. I was off on my own orientation, but if you need assistance I am happy to help where I can.

I am used to having to work mostly alone myself. It is nice to find so many capable allies here.

It really is. Though it's a lot more fun to find friends than just allies.

That is true, but friendship is often harder to manage and acquire, than simply being an ally.

Sometimes it is. I guess I'm just lucky to have both.

Then Ammy tilts her head, and once again brings up a clean sheet of paper. Cutting the old one, as it flutters to the ground, before more writing appears.
