[ A pair of bright grey eyes fills the screen and then they pull back to a face that some in the Library will find very familiar. Identical even. ] Well! This is a strange thing indeed - Elrohir, if this is some prank of yours, I must insist you show me how it is done! Also, my brother, if you are not nearby I will be most upset with you for dumping me and leaving me with only this strange device!

[ The bright smile hides the very real concern - Where is his brother? And more importantly, where on Arda is he? ] Estel? This isn't one of yours, I don't think - far too elaborate. And definitely not yours, Leafling!

...Erestor? Glorfindel? .... Ada?

[Congratulations, 'Dan, you get another elf entirely! Ecthelion smiles at him though, faintly amused.]

He is here, as well as Glorfindel. A few others of Arda have been brought here, along with others from other realms.

[He inclines his head a little.]

[ Elladan blinks and grins at the unfamiliar face. ]

Hello, and well met! I see you are acquainted with my sorry excuse for a twin! [ He does not bother to hide the rush of relief to know that Elrohir is around somewhere ] And our Captain, too!

[ Pause. Wait. Hang on... ] ... Did you just say your name is Ecthelion? As in. that Echtelion?

[Brothers. He's seen enough to know the words are spoken lightly. Ecthelion chuckles softly, the question mirroring Elrohir's.]

The very same. Have you left the Receptionist? If you are still there, I can come to you.

[ The same boggle eyed expression too? ]

Uh. Um. Yes sir. I mean no sir I have not. That is uh. I am still at the Receptionist if you do not mind sparing the time?

[Yup. Ecthelion's doing a pretty good job at not laughing outright at the poor boy (chuckling totally doesn't count okay).]

I suppose I have a few minutes to spare, your brother would be most unhappy if I did not. [He jests, honest! But he is picking up his flute and attaching it to his sash before leaving the small room he shares with Glorfindel.]

I will be no more than a few minutes.

[A nice way of saying if Elladan leaves, Ecthelion will not hesitate to send Glorfindel after him.]

[ Aaaaaaaaaaugh he's so embarassed ]

Ah... Yes! Sure. I wouldn't want to inconvenience you. Sir. [ Oh sweet Manwe's breaths its Ecthelion aaaaaaaaa ]

[SO CUTE! Ecthelion will be sure to hug Elladan once he gets to him. Perhaps Glorfindel's rubbed off on him a little strong...]

It is no inconvenience. [This time he speaks gently, earnest in his words. He really doesn't mind.]

[Hearing that voice so like his own, he instantly found the bookmark and opened up the video. Yes, he is smiling quite brightly at seeing his mirrored image once more.]

It is no prank, my dear brother, though I wish I were so cunning.

[He knew that feeling of arriving here and being so out of place. So he focused solely on the joy of finally having him again.]

I have missed you so, muindor nin! Where are you so that I might greet you properly?

'Roh! [ Elladan visibly relaxes when he hears that voice and sees the face that he has always known ]

Well if it was not you, my dearest brother, then who was it? And I... I am at... er, it seems, the Receptionist?

'Dan, you have no idea how good it is to see you... [His smile almost looked sad at that.]

Stay there, I am coming! [The video jars only slightly with his movement as his elven grace (thankfully) returned after the expulsion of that strange princess.] There is much to explain, that is for sure... I have actually been here for many days now but they said no one at home would notice...

Only as good as it is to see you! [ He retorts, concern creasing his eyes at the sadness in his brother, and he frowns ]

Of course, but what do you mean? We only just got back yesterday, this is true, but you have been by my side the whole time...

Action (because he is about to hug you brother)

[He listens to the questions even as he enters through one of the doors to the main hall. What once was a harried walk turns instantly into a run as he closes out the bookmark.

Crossing the great hall, he throws his arms about his twin and hugs him tightly, pressing his face into the other's neck as though they were elflings once more.]

It has been much longer for me... time... time is so much different here. Like it does not move at all. [He clutches to him tighter, not wanting to let go or get himself in order just yet. For him it was not yesterday... and it feels even longer than it truly has been.]

[ Elladan is just as quick to wrap his arms around Elrohir and hold on tight - he may have only seen his brother recently, but it is still a relief to hold him - and Elrohir seems to need it ]

I am here now. [ He doesn't question the way time does not match for them ] And we are together again, yes?

This place is anything but the product of a prank, master elf.

[Though he's okay with that. At least here he's alive.]

Elrohir is most likely near, though I have yet to cross paths with him this day. He should not be too hard to find, so long as he has not ventured into some odd place here in the Library.

Ah, then at the least I do not have to worry that I might have offended someone who is now seeking revenge! [ Elladan smiles and offers a bow ]

My thanks for the news of my brother, master dwarf. I am sure I will find him... or he will find me! But the way you speak, I assume you know something of this place?

As far as I know, we were simply brought here to help, master elf.

No thanks is needed. I have no doubts that Elrohir will be thrilled to know you are here and I am quite fond of him being happy rather than distraught. [...Yeah he'd just admitted that outloud.] I know as much as most of the residents here. I have been here for a rather short amount of time, if I am to be honest.

Well that's all very nebulous and broadly non specific of them. [ Elladan says cheerfully ] Did they specify what we are supposed to do to help?

Ah, he is easy to like, is my brother. [ Softer ] I... am glad that you were here to keep him company seeing as how I could not.

If they wanted a librarian, they should have snatched Erestor! He still rules Imladris' library with an iron fist, and has a talent for organising that seems to magically make things fix themselves. And how does sorting books keep magic from going out of control, I wonder - I bet they haven't said.

Ah well! If Elrohir can survive here, I am sure I will be able to as well.

[ He sends Fili a brilliant smile at that ] Thank you for looking after him. Any friend of my brother's is a friend of mine - you have but to ask, and I will be glad to help any way I can.

Elladan! Are you safe? [He will always worry, his first concern is making sure the twins are taken care of, no matter how old they are.]

[He says that fondly of course, he adores the twins but someone has to make sure nothing bad happens and that's him.]

[ he sticks his tongue out childlishly - he is sure he and 'Roh will get into plenty of trouble, and Glorfindel will be right there alongside them ]

It really is! [Glorfindel is amused, he is glad that Elladan and Elrohir get to meet Ecthelion, he had always wished his old friend had gotten to live in Imladris with him.]

I'm really glad for you Glofi. [ Elladan tells his childhood hero in all sincerity, aware that Glorfindel must have deeply missed the friend he told his charges stories about, retreating for a little back to childhood nicknames ]

Oh dear. So he will assume we are terrible hellions then?
