[ The bright smile hides the very real concern - Where is his brother? And more importantly, where on Arda is he? ] Estel? This isn't one of yours, I don't think - far too elaborate. And definitely not yours, Leafling!

I'm really glad for you Glofi. [ Elladan tells his childhood hero in all sincerity, aware that Glorfindel must have deeply missed the friend he told his charges stories about, retreating for a little back to childhood nicknames ]

Oh dear. So he will assume we are terrible hellions then?

And all your embarrassing elfling stories. [He couldn't help it as he laughed, it's what parents did. Even adoptive parents/uncles.]

[ Elladan beams brightly at that - praise from Glorfindel is not as rare as that from, say, Erestor, but never given lightly, and he is happy to know that he has pleased his mentor.

You make that sound like I am always wandering off. [ Elladan sniffs at him and nods ]

[It doesn't take long for Glorfindel to find the younger elf and he can't sneak for the life of him but he arrives in a flourish of sparkles and glow.]

[ He should salute, technically, he supposes, but he doesn't really care, flinging him straight for Glorfindel for a hug ]

[There is no need for formalities with Glorfindel, he wouldn't have stood for it when it comes to the twins. Elladan is caught into a hug and twirled around a couple times with delight as he hugged back.]

[ Elladan laughs in delight in return, indulging briefly in the need to be childish, rather than adult ]

Me too. [ He leans on Glorfindel briefly, a presence he has always associated with safety ] And El is probably just as grateful, I am sure.

But enough sappiness! What orders, Captain? What are we doing here?

You are going to be staying with Ecthelion, Elohir and I. [That was not up for debate, Glorfindel would look after the twins no matter how old they were.]

Apparently we've been brought here to help the Library. You have to be wary of what you will encounter here.

Alright. [ He agrees readily - he would always stay where Elrohir was staying, and has no particular worries about staying with Glorfindel, only ] Will Lord Ecthelion mind?

I will try to be careful. [ He promises ] Is there anything in particular, Captain?

He won't mind in the least, and I trust you will listen to him as you listen to me. [Though he said it with a smile, there was a serious tone to his voice. He and Echtelion would do anything they could for the twins.]

[Glorfindel laughed then, putting an arm around Elladan's shoulders as he lead the way.]
